Pegboard Mounting Cleats (Standard 1/4″ Hole)
The Pegboard Mounting Cleat (¼″ Hole, Pair) brings the Phren Craft modular shelf system to pegboard-based work spaces with a focus on precision, stability, and clean installation. Designed specifically for standard ¼″ pegboard holes, this cleat set allows compatible shelves and organizers to be mounted without drilling into walls.
Each order includes two 3D-printed PLA mounting cleats, with each cleat supporting a single shelf mounting point. To secure the cleats to the pegboard, the system uses four ¼″ anchor plugs that press directly into the pegboard holes. The cleats are designed with integrated alignment slots on the back, allowing the anchor plugs to seat properly so the cleat sits flush against the pegboard surface. This ensures consistent spacing, improved load distribution, and a clean, professional appearance.
The included #8 × 1-1/4″ coarse thread screws fasten the shelf securely to the cleats once mounted. After installation, the cleats provide the same French cleat-style interface used throughout the Phren Craft system, allowing shelves to be lifted off for repositioning, workstation use, or layout changes as needed.
Compatible with both metal pegboards and traditional hardboard pegboards, this system is ideal for workshops that prioritize flexibility without sacrificing strength or fit. Finished with the same minimal, refined aesthetic as other Phren Craft components, these cleats integrate seamlessly into garages, studios, and maker spaces.
